Julie's Most Requested Programs:
I’M NOT EVEN A MANAGER, HOW CAN I BE A LEADER?
Dramatic changes have occurred in society and the workplace in the
last 15-20 years. The new leadership is about keeping your eyes open
for challenges and opportunities, engaging the right people, building
the commitment to action that will move the needed mountains, and
ensuring unlimited results. Real leaders are defined not by position
or authority, but by their ability make things happen. Define the
differences between management and leadership, explore leadership and
management best practices, and analyze your personal opportunities to
be a leader.
GOT MOTIVATION? GOT COMMITMENT? GOT RESULTS?
Society, businesses and employees have changed dramatically in the
last 10 years. Diversity is a given, not just an interesting
possibility. Given the changing environment and the need to maximize
our “edge”, how do we ensure that our most important assets – our
capabilities, our effectiveness, and our competitive advantage are
consistently performing at peak performance levels? One size will not
fit all. Learn to utilize individualized motivators, build real
commitment, and facilitate amazing results.
MISSION POSSIBLE: WHAT AM I DOING WITH THE REST OF MY LIFE?
The world provides you with a vast array of options, opportunities,
and challenges, all leading directly to the need to make decisions
about what we want to do. Do you know who you are, and better yet, who
you want to become? Are you mostly making up your life as you go
along? Defining your personal mission provides you with a compass to
help you stay focused on your personal “true north” - to prioritize
clear and informed decisions and actions. Defining your mission can be
your best competitive advantage for life.
STRESSBUSTERS: DEALING WITH CONFLICT, LONG HOURS, AND ANXIETY
We are hardwired to experience stress and the results can be very
harmful – even though each of us believes that we are stronger than
everyone else. How many times do you find yourself saying “I’m ok, I
can handle it”, but really thinking “I am going to either blow up or
die?” In addition, complexity of expectations in life and work has
increased our opportunity for stress in the last 20 years. This
session focuses on understanding the reality of stress on your life
performance – the ways in which we sabotage, over-extend and,
over-define our responsibilities and requirements.
“RESOLVED: INNOVATIVE STRATEGIES FOR NAGGING ISSUES”
We live in a competitive society – one that anticipates for every
winner, there must be at least one or more losers. Creatively
facilitating different points of view, conflict, and finding solutions
to challenges can be your most important competitive advantage.
Explore specific techniques for facilitating conversations that use
differences as a source of creativity and new possibility rather than
competition, conflict, and trouble.
